PCOD Ayurvedic treatment Nashik

PCOS treatment is most searched or asked term these days because one out of every 10 women suffers from this condition. PCOS can affect anyone from an 18-year-old to a 44-year-old woman. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is not a curable disease; but it can be controlled to some extent or it can be managed. But Ayurvedic Treatment can manage PCOS very well and in many cases it is curable.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is formerly known as Stan Levanthal syndrome. This issue starts with hormonal imbalance. This seems to have affected many young age women and girls. This is called a syndrome, because it causes many hormone related problems to the patient. PCOS affects 5 to 10 percent of women between the ages of 18 and 44. The definition of this disease is always changing.

It is not possible to say how many women have been affected by the disease; But one out of every 10 women shows symptoms of this disease. Most women experience the disease between the ages of 20 and 40. It can affect 11 year old girls too. Whether the girl is menstruating or not she too is prone to the disease. Relatives of women who have diabetes, PCOS or obesity may have this problem.

PCOS/ PCOD : Signs of many diseases -

Some are diagnosed with the above two conditions and sometimes do not even have lumps or cysts in the ovary. For this, the treatment is different for each patient in terms of diagnosis and case. The problem is not menstruation or infertility, but can be serious. These are considered to be the antecedents of many types of problems. E.g. Insomnia, shortness of breath, insulin problems, metabolic syndrome, heart disease and diabetes type 2 disease or high blood pressure. No patient becomes moody at such times. Endrometrial hyperplasia and Endrometrial cancer can also occur. This causes the affected patient to gain weight.

Even with diet control and exercise, the body begins to feel heavy. Lifestyle and poor diet can be the reasons. Weight gain is caused by the cessation of insulin and the growth of the androgen hormone. This also causes hormonal imbalances.

Female hormones

Genetic and environmental factors increase the risk of PCOS, doctors and researchers are aware of, but the cause is still unknown. Ovaries increase hormones, a type of chemical. They control the functioning of the body. One of the hormones that makes ovaries is estrogen. Sometimes called "female hormones", they are more common in women than in men.

Male hormones

The ovary also produces androgens. This is called "male hormone" because it is more produced in men than in women. Androgens are more produced in women with this disease. However, estrogen tends to be lower than normal. Ovulation may not be as common in this disease as a result, abscess in the ovary

Begins to form. Hair growth on the body is another symptom. Insulin causes sugar to build up in the cells. When cells do not respond properly to insulin, the body's blood sugar begins to rise. It also increases insulin in the body. Increased insulin increases androgen production. This causes PCOS. Increased insulin leads to appetite and excessive diet leads to weight gain.

The disease is never cured

Polycystic ovaries do not actually cure the disease. This allows the patient to adapt to his or her symptoms. First of all, they need to change their lifestyle. These include low calorie diet, weight loss through hard work, etc. Losing weight helps control the symptoms of PCOS. If you weigh 60 kg, then if you lose 6 kg, you will have less symptoms. This can start ovulation. Acne can be reduced. At the same time, the risk of diabetes is avoided.

These are the treatments -

These include contraceptive pill, insulin sensitizing agent, anti androgen agent. Patients who want to avoid pregnancy need to be given hormonal contraceptives for a long time. As such, it is the primary treatment for these sick women. Oral contraceptive pills contain the hormones estrogen and progesterone. They inhibit the response of abnormal hormones in the ovary. It also has to control androgen levels. Hormonal contraceptive pills are low in androgens, proving to be more effective.

PCOD Symptoms include:

For women who have PCOS, two things always appear -

> They do not have ovulation (egg production). This affects the menstrual cycle. Sometimes it doesn’t even happen. Sometimes late menstruation occurs. This is called oligomenorrhea. If there is oligomenorrhea, the flow is very low or stops after a while. Such patients need to take hormonal tablets. Some may later complain of infertility. Excess of androgens in the form of hormones can lead to hair growth, pimples or hair loss on the scalp.

> It is called polycystic because there is more than one abscess in two ovaries. Ultrasound examination reveals three aspects of polycystic ovaries. There are enlarged ovaries, many small follicles (follicle-shaped) and increased stromal ecogenicity. In such cases the ovaries grow. Its size is increased to 6 ml.
